Homework

Mayfield believes in the importance of children prioritising homework which is going to have the most amount of impact on their learning in primary school. We therefore ask all parents to support their children to complete the following weekly tasks:

Reading everyday -hearing your child read daily as well as reading to your child daily
Finding somewhere quiet and comfortable where your child can concentrate on their homework
Helping your child to learn their times tables/number facts (Times Tables Rock Stars can support with this)
Helping your child to learn their spellings in preparation for their weekly spelling tests
